Hans Egli
Hans Egli cannot sit still, he has never been able to. He loves to be out and about in nature, in summer in the woods or haymaking on alpine meadows, and in winter he’s on skis or snowshoes. As a ski instructor and snowshoe guide he can tell many a story about his village to interested guests. On the sunburned wall of his stable there are “Heinzen”, traditional wooden racks for piling up the hay. Hans is particularly attached to such activities. There is a lot of tradition and old handcraft, which is worth cultivating. That’s why Hans is passionately devoted to the elaborate processing and sharpening of scythes. Anyone interested in this old craft can learn a lot from Hans Egli.
